Yesterday I was supposed to photograph a wedding but the threat of inclement weather postponed it to the end of the month. I was stoked about having a snow wedding but not necessarily about the hour travel to it in these conditions so my dear friend Lindsey decided to spend the weekend “snowed in” with me and we got a little creative. For those of you who don’t know, I got married in June so I have a wedding dress + veil just sitting in my closet (luckily Lindsey’s size). I’m also obsessed with crafty projects so I had a few fake flowers in my craft room that I somehow managed to make into a bouquet. I’ve never done anyone’s makeup, either until yesterday. I figured with my artistic background I could do something decent enough for a last minute styled shoot.
Yes, Lindsey was freezing and yes, my sweet mother was throwing snow around so I could get a few good shots. Enjoy and stay warm this weekend!
