It seems like forever ago when Kelly booked me to photograph her wedding. I remember her telling me that she didn’t have the ring (in hand) yet because it was being customized.. and let me tell you – Jordan’s Jewelry Design did a beautiful job! Kelly + Will booked me for the wedding day only but a few months before the wedding, decided to add an engagement session – one of the most unique to date! Kelly knew exactly what she wanted her engagement session to look like and if you haven’t seen it yet, you should check it out here // they danced in Pullen Park, rode a carousel + even brought their pup downtown.
On to their wedding. It was the most simple + one of the most beautiful I’ve attended. Kelly + Will vowed their love to each other at The Stockroom in downtown Raleigh – I wanted to get married at this venue SO bad but it was too small for my guest list so I was obviously super excited to shoot here. Kelly, her mom, & I were walking downtown between the venue and hotel and I asked her about her vendors she used and she quickly told me a majority of her wedding was DIY – which is also right up my alley.
When I walked into the venue, I was in awe. No detail was left out and everything was amazing, from the giant hand-drawn chalk wall to the small succulent wedding favors.. oh, and the seven different cake flavors.
